Planes turning in scrap metal at the airports in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Cape Cod.
Rusting in thin air.
Forgotten by the runaways continuously treaded by newer machines, silently watching their newer counterparts going by, while the stain of rusting metal goes unwashed by uncounted rainfalls. Slowly being disembodied; repository of scrap parts and reminders of a history of air travel in Brazil.
The man who repairs planes, but never flew.
Colorado/Arizona plane cemetery.
